The Public Safety Cardiac Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support for the work of identifying and treating the earliest stages of coronary heart disease (CHD) in First Responders.
Funds from ‘The Public Safety Cardiac Foundation’ are used to help offset the cost of screening for individual First Responders as well as to provide health and wellness support for Law Enforcement, Fire Prevention, and Emergency Medical agencies personnel.

It is well documented in epidemiological studies that First Responders are working in high stress environments and are at an increased risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Traditional coronary risk factors such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, sedentary lifestyle, metabolic syndrome, and cigarette smoking are pervasive throughout this population.

The passion for the health and well-being of all First Responders is evidenced by the founding of this non-profit organization.
